My Boys Are Back

The Red Album came out today.

There are a handful of decent tracks, "Pork and Beans" included, but it doesn't have the magic of The Blue Album or Pinkerton.

*sigh*

The worst part? The other guys sing on the album. Horror.

    every time I hear Weezer's "Island in the Sun" on sirius (which is AT LEAST 5 times a day), i think of my friend, weemo.

    I really love the Blue Album. It reminds me of high school.

    Maybe I should give the Red Album a listen....

    you select a bassist for a specific reason. his voice usually not being it.

    love the pork & beans video, especially when watched with a certain south park episode.

    You know, it took the Hubs a while to get into the last album, and I think its one of his faves now. You would still suggest picking up a copy, right?

    i just downloaded pinkerton album a few weeks ago (gotta love how all 5,000 of my old cd's have disappeared over the years). anyways.. pinkerton is my FAV. except now i have "why bother" stuck in my head

    double sigh. i was worried about that. i just have not loved anything nearly as much as the first two, although make believe did start to reaffirm my love.
    i blame it on river's fragile ego which was crushed after all the ridiculousness of rock critics who slammed the clearly genius pinkerton. i think they have had awesome songs, riffs, and moments, but just nothing beats those first two.
