We rushed from my beloved museums to make it in time for a tour at Cowboys Stadium before we left Dallas. It was worth it!
During the tour, we learned about the extraordinary construction of the stadium, as well as its inner workings. Our guide was super, and we had the best time. I had never seen anything like this -- Cowboys Stadium seriously blew my mind.
This concludes my recaps of our 2011 Dallas-Forth Worth outings. Don't rule out the area as a place to visit! There is much fun to be had!

Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Kind Of
I say "kind of" because we didn't actually have time to visit The Modern; we had to hustle to Mr. Monkey's portion of our day before heading to the airport. That was a damn shame. Just look at the gorgeous grounds and lobby!
Next time. Definitely next time.

Picasso and Braque at the Kimbell Art Museum
The first part of Sunday was for me -- a trip to the Kimbell Art Museum to see the Picasso and Braque exhibit. I wrote a report on Picasso and Braque when I was in junior high and have been a fan of Cubism ever since!Sadly, photos were not allowed, but I really enjoyed the exhibit!
You can take as many pictures as you want of the rest of the museum, though.
The Kimbell Art Museum is a charming slice of culture in Fort Worth. I found it a beautiful refuge from the heat and humidity outside.
