We loved the otters, Buck and Emma. Emma was so docile and smart!

Do not heed the advice of Friends if you are ever stung by a jellyfish.

  4. thank you so much for posting the pictures from the aquarium. i think the next time i am in new orleans that will definitely have to be one of my stops.

my friends and i just recently went to the georgia aquarium but it is still nothing compared to the new orleans one. no penguins or otters there for sure.

  6. 1) You have more otter pics than any person I know. I remember you taking a million at the zoo too.
    2) When you go to Vancouver please please please check out the aquarium in Stanley Park. We didn't have the time to go and my mom isn't a fan of aquariums (that was my dad's thing). I'm still trying to figure out how to trick her into going to the Atlanta aquarium when we're there later this year.

  10. Whenever I take photos of sea creatures contained in glass, all I get is bright glare-y shots. Eek.

I say this a lot about your photos, but these were great... really, truly. I love aquariums!

  11. I scrolled through this post very fast and looked through my fingers. Of course that one shot of the shark with its mouth open wide and teeth showing snuck into my line of vision and now I can't get the image out of my head and it's scary. I love all other marine life. Why do sharks have to be so scary? The jelly fish are trippy, man.

  15. Hi weezermonkey,

Beautiful photos. Thanks for the colorful photo journey. :) How does this aquarium compare to the Aquarium of the Pacific at Long Beach?

  16. Wonderful pictures as always. Very well composed shots. Most of the shots look as if you were in the tank taking photos. Nice.
