M Is for Magnificent

If you've been watching the current season of Top Chef, you know that The M Resort Spa and Casino has been playing host to all the festivities. We made a short visit before we left Las Vegas.

The place is spacious, sparkling, and generally spectacular. It's so new that it doesn't have that stale smoke odor so typical of Vegas casinos. The only drawback is that it's quite far from The Strip.

Marinelli's, the resort's Italian restaurant, looked promising and was very nice to let us take a look, even though it was closed when we visited. If you're wondering, Studio B Show Kitchen Buffet is where all the Top Chef magic happened.

I don't remember where I saw this.

But it made my immature self laugh.

We made a brief stop at the iconic sign before heading to the airport.

  5. weezer,

Great photos! Oh man, I still remember the crazy all-you-can-eat-AND-drink buffet at M.

  6. That place looks really nice. We just got into Top Chef and DVRed a marathon the other day.

  7. ooho that place looks like fun. and as many times as i've been to vegas i've still never seen the sign, haha. one day, one day.

  8. Need to visit this place now on my next drive to Vegas! So beautiful and modern inside. I could have visited it last year but forgot to.

  9. I'm actually reading this while watching Top Chef! :)

  10. I am giggling in my office at the ASS sign. I actually can't stop.

  11. That place looks really pretty. I guess they're having a deal for stay one night, get the second free. But really though, at $350/night, that is still steep!!
