Seven Courses of Beef: Vietnam Restaurant

Vietnam Restaurant (340 W. Las Tunas Dr., San Gabriel) doesn't look like much.

But it serves some damn tasty treats.

Bò 7 món -- seven courses of beef ($13.95).

Wandering Chopsticks, who recommended Vietnam Restaurant to me, does an impressive job of describing these seven courses in detail.

Phở đặc biệt -- rare and well-cooked beef, tendon, and tripe rice noodle soup ($5.50).

Cơm bì chả sun -- pork chop, shredded pork, and baked egg with steamed rice ($5.75).

Really solid meal for really good prices. If you haven't tried Seven Courses of Beef, this is a super place to remedy that. Other dishes are worth your time as well.

  1. We love hitting up Vietnamese restaurants with people who are "in the know" (which is usually why we take Kpham). Sounds like Wandering Chopsticks is a great guide!

  2. I think you should start ending all your posts with a note indicating whether "Jabba" was satisfied.

From the looks of all that meat, I'd say yes?

  4. Man that looks good. I've driven past this place a couple times with my mom.

Now I know what to order. Thanks!

  5. I *just* tried pho for the first time last week (before Son of a Gun). Somewhat silly, isn't it? Anyways, this looks way yummy.
