Worst Weezer Concert Ever

Yes, you read that right. Yes, you are still on WeezerMonkey's blog.
weezer 001
I am angry, sad, and bewildered by my beloved band. I don't know if I'll be able to give them yet another chance after tonight. I was really offended by tonight's ridiculously bad performance.

I have many thoughts on this, but they'll have to wait. It's midnight, and I need to go to bed. Gotta rest up for an early morning start tomorrow, so I can make it to the Dodger game.

Seriously terrible. Shockingly so. Depressing.

Oh no!
I was not.a.fan of the non-Rivers singing. I did enjoy a lot of the songs, though. I am interested to read your full review.
I definitely thought Angels and Airwaves was AWFUL, and I love them.

sorry, that totally sucks.

maybe if you listen to some older songs you'll be reminded of why you love them so much?

Oh no!!! Weezer is half of your internet identity, so that's gotta hurt :( I'm sad for you.

this makes me sad for you :(

you were missed last night - at some points we were laughing til we cried and we're sure you would have had some choice words to add to the discussion.

That's awful!
My friend went to a show in the bay area and wasn't too thrilled with it, but she's nowhere near as much of a fan as you are (were?).

boooooo :(

maybe that's why i typically go for cheese. i never expect a great oeuvre from pop bands in concert. just a fun spectacle.

What was so bad? Anyway, it shouldn't take away from what you loved about them before. You can still enjoy the old stuff, right?

oh....i know this feeling. i stopped seeing them live. the first two times i saw them it was pure magic. after that...a band phoning it in...i coudn' stand the heartache, so i just listen to the albums of theirs that i consider great, and leave it at that. but when liz released her last record, i wanted to cry. i can't even listen to it. i pretend it doesn't exist.

The one up here (San Jose State Event Center) was awesome! There were a few things that sucked, but overall great. I wonder what happened within one day to make it suck. Bummer. Can't wait to hear (err read) what you have to say.

You owe me a huge long email explanation before Friday. I'm holding you to this. And you know the hubs is shouting over my shoulder what you thought of Angels and Airwaves and Tokyo Police Club.
