Bloggers inevitably face those days when practically nothing happens. Today was one of those days. I got up and went to work. Tuesdays after a long weekend are always the worst.
The Shark is back from his big vacation, though, so that's a good thing. He looked tanned and rested, although he was actually sort of sick. We both suspect this is a result of the nasty recirculated air on his 14-hour-or-so flight. He brought me back a little Vietnamese embroidered wallet. So thoughtful!
Went to lunch at a mediocre Italian place that we frequent. I'm not really sure why. Everything there is slathered with one of four sauces. All taste same. And that's not very good.
Stopped into Target to buy some toothpaste and teeth whitening rinse. My teeth have been looking kind of yellow lately, but I'm too chicken to use strips. I don't like when my teeth get sensitive. Whipping Boy bought a few things for his kid. Harley bought a vacuum cleaner and giant trash can among other things.
So boring today. All of us.
Went back to work. Worked.
Drove home. Picked up dry cleaning. Ate dinner. Watched TV.
i don't know what you mean. my life is ALWAYS oh-so-exciting.
i like boring days. the writing becomes more important :)ReplyDelete
It's been almost a month since I last went to a Target :XReplyDelete
same, same...but different.ReplyDelete
we kept seeing tee shirts with that saying in vietnam and it made us snicker. I'm actually really sad we didn't pick one up.
I'm becoming increasingly intrigued by how often you guys visit Target. =)ReplyDelete
i wish i worked that close to a target. oh wait, no i don't, as then i'd bring home lots of crap.ReplyDelete
It could be worse, you could spend your days being a P.I. and never get any of your information right. ;) Boring days give us something to look forward to.ReplyDelete
I want to have a job where I can go to Target during my lunch hour. That'd be nice.ReplyDelete
I am so with you on the whitening strips - but mostly because we have the same fabulous healthy teeth. It instills the same over protectiveness. I guarantee in 15 years someone will have brought a class action because all their teeth fell out as a byproduct ;-)ReplyDelete
that was pretty interesting for me to read. does that make me weird?ReplyDelete
You mention my trash can and not my guitar purchase??ReplyDelete
What are you talking about? To some, your day could be considered top notch excitement :)ReplyDelete
Atleast you only have this problem once in a great while. You blog more in one week than I do in a month.ReplyDelete
I think you should blog about the whitening of your teeth. For instance, day one photo, day three photo, etc. It would be fasincating.ReplyDelete
eh. add in a visit to the gym and that pretty much sums up most of weekdays. i lead a very very exciting life ;)ReplyDelete
Yes, my life is dull, too. Hence why my blog has been quiet for a week!! Maybe you should bring back the "ask a monkey" post you did awhile ago!ReplyDelete
