Calling All Angels

Today was my first visit to Angel Stadium. It's kind of crazy that I'd never been before. Mr. Monkey, however, has been a number of times and even knew where to park for free.

Exploring!

Rally monkeys!

Finding our seats!
I was impressed we were on the lower level in light of the fact that Mr. Monkey got tickets for just $20 each a few days ago. Yay for StubHub! Angel Stadium is awesome. It pains me as a Dodger fan to say this, but it's just...nicer.

We started with some enormous grilled hot dogs and corn-on-the-cob from the nearby Coors Light Backyard BBQ. The hot dog was big, thick, juicy, and the length of my forearm! [Insert your own dirty joke here.] I ended up eating only the dog and a just a quarter of the huge bun. Real grill marks! Very good!

The grilled corn-on-the-cob was awesome. Fresh. Sweet. Juicy. I contemplated going back for another.

The view from our seats.

Fountain -- day and night versions.

Flags.
Junk.
Scroll to make the pitcher pitch!

Dinner, Part Two. I'm not sure where Mr. Monkey got these nachos and Icee, but they were tasty.

How is this guy's name pronounced like "Sean" or "Shawn"? Mr. Monkey and I had fun cheering for Mr. Underwear quietly: "Chonie! Chonie! Chonie!"
This dude below is not Brother Monkey's girlfriend.
But this is my secret Japanese baseball-playing boyfriend.

The stadium from the lot.

Bye, Anaheim!

  8. I've only been there once, but it was definitely memorable (we sat in a suite) and I agree that it's "nicer" than Dodger's stadium.

  14. Hubs will not go to Angels Stadium with me. He hates them. I'm glad your first visit was fun and filled with yummy food. At least that's what it looks like to me. :)
