Ta-Ta, Takami

I went to Takami tonight with some old co-workers to celebrate my birthday eve and, more importantly, to bid our dear Bootcamper farewell. Bootcamper's last day at my old firm is this Friday. She's moving to San Francisco! Big boo for us, but very cool for her!

I had a yummy Yuzu Berry martini.

Of course, I had to get my usual spicy tuna on crispy rice.

The view was great, as usual, too.

It was fun to see old friends.

Willy Wonka had worn a hat all day, so his hair was crazy. And he'd been drinking.

But even crazier was VP of Sales. Among other things, he demonstrated the simian dancing of a partner at the firm's retreat last weekend and reenacted some homeless woman's public defecation, which he witnessed in horror while driving home one night.

VP of Sales cracks my shit up. While pretending to shit, no less.

Good times.

We will miss you, Bootcamper. Please make sure to e-mail often, especially to Cheeks, because I know he will miss you the most!

  1. Oooh I've always wanted to try Takami. The VP of Sales cracked me up :) The other day I was at a happy hour with clients and a director started singing and dancing . . . and I instantly thought of your thong-song-friend. Hahaha.

  5. Your birthday eve? Why that means today's your birthday!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised they served you alcohol the night before you turned 21 though.

And now I know why you weren't there for me in my hour of need last night.
